John Mood - A Basement Romance EP

Not too many words required for this one. Swedish Record Label Local Talk opening the roads for an up and coming producer, a Dutch man called John Mood. He gives us a raw, deep house joint filled with luscious chords, a deep baseline and a tight rhythm. The way house music should be.
De Sluwe Vos does a lovely job remixing the A-Side.

Kasper Bjørke feat. Laid Back - 'Bohemian Soul'

Kaspar Bjorkes 3rd single from his latest album 'Fool' gets the remix treatment from a host of artists. In all honesty the track is superb and doesn't need to be touched, this leaves me worried about what I'm going to hear.
But worry I need not, the remixes are just as good as the original and I struggle to point my hobbit fingers at the best of the lot. The Hamburg two some the Adana Twins do a fantastic deep house job, I think I might call this one out. They've called it 'On A Cloudy Day’ remix, however they could quite easily have settled for 'On a Sunny Day'

Next up would have to be slightly uptempo version from the New York pair Still Going.

Other remixers in the package include This is Head and Tambien.

No Regular Play - 'Endangered Species'

No Regular Plays eagerly awaited album drops on the November 23rd, 2012. They are two childhood friends (Greg Paulus and Nicholas DeBruyn) from Minnesota who are a core of the current Wolf + Lamb family.
Endangered Species is as shape-shifting as nature itself, twisting and evolving with grand pianos, african drums, closed high hats and Greg Paulus trumpet lines.

FaltyDL – ‘Straight & Arrow’

Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL has his second release for Ninja Tune ready to go. A delicious house record, with soothing vocals. Perfect listening when kicking back in the armchair or bouncing in the club.

Four Tet a man who just won't stop offers a superb remix. A slow but beautifully gripping start with a techy switch-up half way through. Foot tapping to the bitter end.
Due for release on the 12 November
